Caves Campelo is a Portuguese producer from Barcelos, in the Minho region, rooted in the Vinho Verde DOC landscape of cool Atlantic influence, granite soils, and fresh, aromatic native grapes. Founded in 1951 by Manuel Campelo, the house grew from a local wine operation into a broad Portuguese beverage producer while keeping its focus on approachable regional character, clean vinification, and wines shaped for freshness, fruit clarity, and everyday drinking. Its cellar work is closely tied to Minho varieties such as Loureiro, Arinto, Trajadura, Azal, Vinhão, and Espadeiro, with a style that favors crisp acidity, moderate alcohol, and lively texture.
