El Pandillo is based in Jesús María in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, and it operates as Distilería El Pandillo, NOM 1579. The project was built by tequilero Felipe Camarena, drawing on a multigenerational family background in agave farming and tequila making. Its production style centers on mature Blue Weber agave, slow cooking, careful milling, open and closed fermentation choices, and a strong focus on water source, fermentation control, and texture.
